The Dolls Awards of Excellence (DAE) competition recognizes and encourages excellence in the design and creation of dolls. Photos of all the entries are reviewed and rated by professionals within the doll industry, who evaluate each submission on overall aesthetic appeal; excellence in concept, design, and execution; and quality of material and workmanship.

The highest-scoring creations in each category received the DAE Industry’s Choice Awards, announced in an online awards ceremony June 8. Now, the Industry’s Choice winners, along with other entrants’ top-rated submissions in each category, have become the nominees for this year’s Public’s Choice Awards, voted on by you, the readers of DOLLS magazine.

The deadline for voting is October 2, 2023. The Public’s Choice winners will be announced in the January/February 2024 issue of DOLLS, available in early December, and on our website.
