The doll world is a little sadder with the recent passing of beloved doll artist Shirley Peck. Her doll company, American Beauty Dolls, made highly collectable porcelain dolls early in her career. Later Shirley created adorable little boy and girl felt dolls. She is also remembered as a wonderful friend to those who knew her, a gifted painter, and a distinguished college professor.
