An exciting year of releases is underway for Meadow Dolls. With more than a decade of dollmaking now under her belt, fans have come to expect nothing less from the talented Miroslava Brodlova.

The main focus for 2025 has been adding to the BB (“Big Baby”) doll line. These chubby 18-inch cuties were originally designed to combine the features of ball-jointed dolls with those of realistic, soft reborn dolls. Maintaining a childlike appearance while also having the stability and posability of BJDs, they are fun to play with and photograph. Because they are larger than the dolls in most of the other lines, BB dolls are also easier to customize and sew for, making them a great fit for collectors with a passion for doll fashion. Saffi was the first BB doll to be produced, followed by Bailey, Yuuna, and Sylvia-Scarlet. They are now being joined by Madde, Tanja, and Katja.

Two dolls will also be debuting at the 2025 Modern Doll Collectors Convention, which is taking place in August in Savannah, Georgia. First up is Lorri, who is part of the ever-popular Dumpling line. At 11 inches, she will make an adorable travel companion for anyone taking her home from the convention. Accompanying her on the journey to the Peach State is Hanna, a new 13.5-inch Tween doll with a serene, slightly more mature-looking face.

It is essential to periodically step away from the typical day-to-day work and allow new ideas a chance to emerge, and Brodlova welcomes this opportunity. She said, “There are always new projects in the works, but with the good weather, my gardening gets all my attention. I take time off during these few good months of good weather in Sweden to enjoy my green thumb. Nature and dolls bring much joy.”
