I love Pat, not only as a sculptor and creator of beautiful dolls, but also as a person. She welcomed me into her home when I wanted to learn to sculpt. I sat beside her for seven days sculpting, laughing, and learning. She made me feel like family. She even gave me a surprise haircut while I was there. Most people do not know she is actually a hair stylist.

I left her home with my own sculpt, a new hairdo, and the number two of her sculpt Pork Chop, who was reborn by me and has a place of honor along with Brook who has a custom-made dress. I have, in my 15 years of reborning, reborn most of her early Paradise Gallery babies and her other sculpts. Pat is talented and gracious, a good friend, and an amazing human being.

I met Pat over 20 years ago at the Expo East Doll Show in Washington, DC, and started selling her beautiful dolls at my shoppe. Pat creates a doll that has always enchanted the collector. Whether it be the beautiful handmade eyes (Pat made herself), the perky colorful hairdos, or the striking outfits (again made by Pat), they never remained very long at the shop before they were sold. When I first met Pat, she was creating beautiful OOAK mini babies, then graduated to her 10-inch cuties, and eventually entered the BJD world. All with great success. Pat’s dolls have a personality all their own that collectors have a hard time resisting. Congratulations, Pat, on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and for enhancing the art of collecting dolls!

I have had the pleasure and joy of having Pat in my life since 1999. I met Pat in person at the IDEX Show in Las Vegas in 2010. When she started making reborn kits, I was really excited to buy the kits and start painting really lifelike reborns — and as fast as I could paint them, they were sold. I only wish I had kept one of each I painted!

I’ve followed her work constantly over the years, and she never ceases to amaze me! This woman has outdone herself every step of the way! I would love to have such talent. Pat’s OOAKs and reborn dolls are just beautiful — she sculpts every tiny fold in those babies❤️❤️ Her BJD collection is fabulous! Now her newest collection of OOAK dogs — they are so sweet and when she said she was done, well, I could not see that until she made a Yorkie, so I asked and she did! She made a momma and daughter.  I bought one for my sister for her birthday — she is in Love!

Today I got a gift in the mail — the baby girl Yorkie! I’m in love, she is the cutest ever!

Anyone who has been blessed to have Pat in their life I know feels like I do. She is such a beautifully warm, talented, woman. I’m so excited and proud of her and blessed to call her a friend. She is amazing! She has worked hard and deserves this award and recognition by the doll world and DOLLS magazine.
