DOLLS: What is available at your shop?

Terry Lambert: My Etsy shop, BJDWardrobe, sells custom OOAK repainted/upgraded dolls and doll clothing made by me.

DOLLS: How do you ensure the dolls you sell are authentic?

Lambert: I purchase new dolls to customize from companies that offer premium-quality dolls, such as Ruby Red Global, Gotz, and Schildkröt. My new and vintage custom dolls always come with their own identification documents.

DOLLS: Who are the intended buyers of your offerings?

Lambert: Doll collectors who want a customized doll and hand­made clothing.

DOLLS: How did you first get involved with doll and clothing sales?

Lambert: I started as a reborn doll artist in 1996. I tran­sitioned to customizing new and vintage dolls with clothing made by me.

DOLLS: Have you had any particularly memorable sales?

Lambert: Many of my dolls have found homes far away. I am happy to see that dolls are loved universally!

DOLLS: What do you enjoy most about this line of work?

Lambert: I have enjoyed the re­sponse of buyers when they receive their custom dolls! Knowing that the dolls have found a loving home is very important to me.

DOLLS: If someone wants to learn more about your offerings, what should they do?
