Q: I have been helping my mother organize her extensive doll collection and among them is this Vogue Ginny doll with a banner that says, “Miss 1930s.” The doll looks exactly like Shirley Temple did in the movie Curly Top in the 1930s. My mother has other Ginny dolls that have a banner like that from each decade; however, her other Miss 1930s doll is totally different than this doll. Can you explain why this style is different?
