On the Cover: The Huret is the most popular of the antique French Fashion dolls and was made by Adelaide Calixte Huret circa the 1860s. The antique Huret, as well as her garments and accessories, are rare and highly sought after. The Huret pictured is a reproduction painted by Darlene Lane. Dollspart created this doll with exacting accuracy and faithfulness to the original, giving the doll enthusiast, lover, and collector the opportunity to have a “Huret of Their Own.” The authentic costume on the doll is called Fallen Leaves and is made from a kit by the Pampered Poupee and sold by Dollspart.
