Q: My older sister was a huge Bar­bie collector during the 1960s. Recently we had to clean out our parents’ house, and we found my sister’s Barbie collection. Being a doll collector myself, I was thrilled when she said I could have the collection!

She was very particular about things and took care of her dolls, so everything is prac­tically like new. Among her dolls was this Midge doll dressed in this adorable fash­ion, just as my sister had left her. She does not look like other Midge dolls I have seen. I wondered if you could comment on this?
