I used to paint the Master paintings of The Impressionist period. This was an inspiration for my OOAK Character dolls of the 1800's. I sculpt dolls from prosculpt and paper clay. Jointed, similar to antique dolls but realistic children's faces. I sew removable 19th century period clothes, shoes, hats, and mohair wigs for them. I use German glass eyes, mohair wigs, natural and vintage fabrics, silk velvets, and antique lace.   

 I enjoy sculpting my renditions of the German/French character dolls of that period, and portrait dolls inspired from old photos and paintings -at times included.  My dolls are #1 artist original, signed, sculptures; no molds made.
