Q: I have been buying Happy Holidays Barbies since the very first doll in 1988. I paid store price for her. She was $27.99. This was the most expensive new Barbie I had ever seen at the time. I never had any desire to sell, even when the price was several hundred dollars. However, recently, I noticed the price has dropped drastically! Being the first in the series, I thought she would always hold her value. What happened?
