As "concerned" as I and many, many, doll collectors are for Courtney Love, I'm sure we can all do without this article. Thia has nothing to do with doll collecting and I think we can put this drama to bed. No offense to Ms. Love, but she's never seemed to be bothered by offending anyone. Offensive is probably her middle name.
I personally am in a position to encourage doll collectors who tell me they are dropping their subscriptions daily. I have been a fan of "Doll Reader " since 1985 and am still trying to be.
Please, please, please, help me and all of your readers have a good reason to hang in there with you. We know times are difficult right now, but there are more worthwhile things to cover.
Good luck.

Courtney said in 1999:

"I wrote this in Boston. I wrote this song in Joyce Linehan's apartment. I was really impressed. She was a lower level music executive and she had lots of matching bodyshop shampoo and I'd never seen that before. And I thought one day I'll have enough money and all my cosmetics are gonna match. I also thought that the guy I was going out with - who I later married... and that wasn't the transvestite in Las Vegas the other time... I thought that he didn't like me and that he liked this total poser idiot girl, so I wrote this song about him and it's called Doll Parts." - Tara

Twenty years ago? That seems impossible to believe. I can still remember when I first heard that song. I guess we're all getting old. Including Miss Love. Hope she has a happier life these days. Too much talent to waste. - Kiki
