Modern Doll Collectors Convention 2010 to Be Held in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Modern Doll Collectors Convention (MDCC) will once again offer its fun and doll-packed festivities to collectors. In 2010 it will bring the event to Winston-Salem, N.C., Sept. 29-Oct. 2, 2010.

The convention’s 2010 theme is Kaleidoscope and the souvenir doll will be by Wilde Imagination. Registration is limited to 225 attendees and priced at $295 per person. Among participating manufacturers are Alexander Doll Co., Tonner Doll Co., Goodreau Doll, Berdine Creedy Originals, Heidi Plusczok, Kish & Co., Vogue Doll Co. and Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls. One of many fun events that take place at the Modern Doll Collectors Convention is the Manufacturers’ Forum (pictured above), where the doll company leaders field questions from the audience and openly discuss the ins and outs of their business.
